About Badger

I started throwing axes at Meduseld Meadery in August of 2021. Just coming out of lockdown, I jumped at the opportunity to do something weird with kind people. 

In that time, I've become a pretty alright thrower. I still have so much more room to grow, and that's what I'm doing. 

A decade ago, I started a blog about bike polo, and people liked it. Now that I'm doing this fringe sport, I figured I might as well give it a go. 

The Axe Badger (as a blog, not a person) started in June of 2023, and it's become a sincere, absurd experiment in following along as a little, round fellow tries his best to absorb everything this sport has to offer. I've laughed a lot, cried a bunch, and come to realize the community is a very special group. Anyway, I hope you take a minute to read through some of what I've got here, because, dear reader it's wild.
